Dec 29, 2006 HI I have installed Win Xp on my MBP using bootcamp and it works great. Today I decided to give parallels a try. It works as advertised but I could not find much use for it unless it could boot the XP installation that I did under bootcamp. I dont want to have two different instalations.
Mar 30, 2009 I ended up reinstalling Windows Vista Basic through Boot Camp. I have not opened it with Parallels. (The problem was with Windows not booting through Boot Camp. It worked fine through Parallels). I think the issue has to do with a Windows update. I upgraded to SP1 and it was fine. I put the Boot Camp 2.1 update in and it is fine.
